K8s Cluster

Developed a production-grade orchestration environment using Kind to simulate real-world cloud scaling. I engineered an Nginx Ingress Controller for traffic management and implemented ClusterIP services for internal microservices communication. This setup automates the container lifecycle for Next.js applications, ensuring high availability and seamless deployment rollouts.

The Challenge

Developing and testing Kubernetes-native applications locally often leads to 'it works on my machine' errors due to single-node limitations.

The Solution

Built a distributed 2-node cluster (Control-Plane & Worker) using Kind, providing a realistic sandbox for testing Ingress rules and load balancing.

Impact & Results

01Zero-downtime deployments via K8s Rolling Updates
02Isolated environment testing for production parity
03Automated image sideloading for 50% faster dev cycles
04Mastered Ingress-to-Service traffic orchestration
